Re-energise 4: Coming Home 2009?

This was the fourth of the re-energise conferences held in the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort and it had all the ingredients that you expect from a very well organised event. It had early morning prayer, worship, keynote addresses from gifted communicators, seminars, and stands offering resources that would help the delegates when they went back to their own communities.

That is where the Cairngorms Christian Centre came in. Offering comfortable accommodation for groups and individuals where they could have retreats and include an exploration of Strathspey, Badenoch and the Cairngorms with all they have to offer in the way of active and leisurely pursuits to enliven both spiritually and physically.

Lets not forget the wonderful food at meal times, the making of new contacts, the meeting of friends, and the discussion of the days events and other matters concerned with the Church.

If you were not able to be at the conference then you can still listen to the addresses of the keynote speakers and you can even download these addresses on to your computer. If you were at the conference then you probably will want to download the addresses which helped you or gave you a new approach.

It’s always good to see new initiatives beginning in Christian circles!

Here in Badenoch & Strathspey -in Aviemore, actually- we are happy to support the work of the new Cairngorms Healing Rooms.

They will be open 2nd & 4th Wednesdays every month from 7.30 - 9.30pm.

Folk involved in the running of the Centre are also part of the team at the Healing Rooms so we are busy praying for that work. Won’t you join us in these prayers? - or come along for prayer yourself - there’s no charge and they welcome everyone!
